John "Johnny" Edward Schlueter

Mr. John “Johnny” Edward Schlueter of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away in a San Antonio Hospital on Friday, March 16th, 2012 at the age of 73 years. He was born October 13th, 1938 in Gillespie County, Texas the son of Adolph Schlueter and Laura Novian Schlueter, served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963, was than in a Army Reserve unit from 1963 to 1967. Worked and drove for Dayton Herber, and drove for Crenwelge Oil Company for 28 years.
Johnny is survived by nieces and nephews: Jimmy Dale, and Tim Schlueter, Sharron Carew, Linda and Gary Hunnicutt and one sister-in-law Billie Hatton.
Also survived by cousins Darrel Schlueter, Blanche Rhodes and Karen Taylor, Bobby Schlueter, Josie Lang, Rosemae Manglburger, Frank Petsch and Esther Fickert and Barry Schlueter.
Vigil services for Johnny Schlueter will be held on Wednesday, March 21st, 2012 at 6:30 P. M. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, with Deacon Patrick Klein officiating.
Interment of his cremains will be held at a later date.
Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in his memory to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of their choice.
Visitation for Johnny will be Wednesday afternoon from 5 to 7:00 P. M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
