Mrs. John L. Steele nee Jeannie Beth Burrier, 74, of Fredericksburg (Willow City) died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Windcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fredericksburg. She was born August 12th, 1937, the daughter of James Howard Burrier and Lois Elizabeth Young. Jean married John Lawrence Steele on August 12th, 1955 in Fredericksburg, Texas. She worked for the Department of Agriculture as a Secretary.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John L. Steele

Jean Beth is survived by the following, 3 sisters, Judy and spouse Charles Schelnick of Willow City, Jane Burrier of Willow City, and Jimmie Tree of Fredericksburg.

A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, February 29th, at 2PM at the Willow City School House.

As per her wishes she was cremated and her cremains by private family disposition on the family ranch.

Memorials may be made to the Willow City Volunteer Fire & Rescue or to the charity of choice.
